My name is Lois Hall . I have a voucher for a 3 bedroom for cook county . it is about to expire on June 1/. I live in Kenosha Wisconsin . I have been looking for a place since the winter . I have called people I don't get a answer or call back I have been asked to pay for background checks only to fund out my credit score is low . I am so stressed from wasting gas and money until I'm about ready to mail my voucher back . I talked to a woman yesterday who said she had a house in the suburbs of Illinois . I got my Hope up I got my kids out of school early ,again to go look at this house . The house had mold in it and its next door to an abandoned house . I have a 7 and 8 year old and that is dangerous ! Maybe some one here can help us find somewhere decent before I give up on using this voucher
