I am a single mom of 3 non smoking, and no pets. I just recently got approved for section 8 and I really need the help right now. but section 8 only approved me for for a 2 bedroom even though I wish I could get a 3 bedroom a 2 bedroom is great and I appreciate the help. I am looking to move and stay for a few years I don't want to be moving place to place every year trying to find the right place but at the same time section 8 only gave me til July 1st to use my voucher. I have been looking at all the websites and putting up ads I hope to find something soon. My voucher states as followed : Bedroom size 2 br ,Estimate if tenant is responsible for all appliances & utilities ( Maximum shopping allowance is $593, Estimate if tenant is responsible for some utilities) (Maximum allowance is $639, Estimate if landlord is responsible for all appliances & utilities) ( All bills paid is $866 , Estimate if landlord is responsible for all utilities and appliances ). .... It was kind of explained to me that say that I find a house for $700 a month as long as the landlord provides a fridge and stove the landlord can get $639 guaranteed every month as long as he/she is willing to rent it for that amount or if all bills are paid by landlord in landlords name that the most will be paid is $866 per month.....Well I hope someone can help me cause I have never been on section 8 and this is all new to me.
